I am 23 years and I have cerebral palsy which affects all four of my limbs in general everyday living activities. I live a very busy and active lifestyle witch puts a lot of physical demands on my body. This is why the need for a new power chair is of the highest importance for me at this time, so I can continue to improve my life opportunities and further my independence to a greater level. My current chair is now 5 years old and I would hope that the new chair would have a similar life time. I use this chair 7 days a week and majority of my day is spend in my chair. Because of my condition it is really important for me to be able to change my position on a regular basis my new chair will be able to do these functions much more effectively. It has technology called tilting space which means it is able to tilt backwards and forwards and elevation. I work for charity which promotes disability awareness training  young people and adults. It is so important that I am a good role model for disability when I am delivering such training and through out my life in general. I have very busy and active social life which puts a lot of physical demands on my power chair and body.
